During the session the students invited questions from the floor via text messages.  The following questions were received:

How did the other students respond to texting questions to the Student Council?

The students responded very well, they found texting 'non-threatening' and easy to use as they could text whenever they wanted to.

How many students use the texting service?

This depends upon the current topic being discussed but on topics such as uniform we had more responses than for lesser items.
