School Uniform Rules

College uniform creates an identity and ensures all students know they belong to our community, it also ensures a smart and consistent appearance for visitors.  All students in Year 7 to 11 are expected to wear their uniform correctly and with pride whilst at College and also on the journey to and from College.  Sixth formers are free to wear normal clothes.

Lodge Park does have a college tie but it is only available as a reward for service to the college community, and when worn must be worn done up to the neck with the top shirt button fastened.  The college provide it free of charge.

Students must wear a white school shirt with collar worn with no more than one button undone at the top and tucked in.  Shirts must be plain, not fitted, with no patterns, logos or embroidery.

All students must wear an item  of dark blue college knitwear (a choice is available of long sleeved, sleeveless or cardigan) that shows the college logo and the house colour.  These items can only be purchased through the official College supplier.  NO other items of knitwear are allowed.

Black skirt/trousers.  (Plain with no patterns)

Black or white socks/tights (Plain)

Black shoes. (No trainers or sandals.)  Heels must be a sensible height, ie not dangerous on stairs.  Shoes must cover the whole foot (no pumps or fashion shoes due to health and safety in Science and Design Technology rooms).

PE kit: red polo shirt, black plain shorts, white indoor sports socks, black/ white outdoor socks, trainers, football boots (optional)

Hats, caps and hoods are not allowed to be worn inside the building.  This includes Mufti-days.

Jewellery

Students are only allowed to wear one stud in each ear and a wristwatch.  All other types of jewellery should not be worn. Piercings in any other part of the body (tongue / nose / eyebrow / belly button) are not allowed and students will be asked to remove them. Persistent wearing of inappropriate jewellery will lead to it being confiscated.

Make up

Students should only be wearing discreet make up and clear/skin coloured nail varnish.  Removal of excessive make up will be requested.  Numerous requests may lead to College consequences.
